We are putting out a call for fundraising ideas! If you have a unique idea of how to raise money, we'd love to hear from you.  Please contact us with any ideas.

Would you like to volunteer to help us raise funds? We always need volunteers for upcoming events. Please keep checking back on this site for the next fundraiser and call for volunteers. Thank you for your interest!

Here are some ideas that OHO has for fundraising so far:

1) Ask for commitments from churches, individuals, and other entities to regularly donate to OHO.

2) Ask for sponsorships, pending on OHO's future sponsorship program.

3) Advertise on local radio stations, such as Shine FM

4) Hold fundraising events

Fundraising Events:

1) Auctions

2) Ethnic dinners; guests buy tickets.

3) Wine tastings

4) Pottery painting parties

5) Hikes/walks

6) Volleyball, bowling, golf, or other sporting events

7) Orphan/adoption conference, featuring adoption agencies, grant assistance organizations, and relevant speaker and/or performers

8) Participate/hold booth at an adoption conference

9) Community garage sales

10) Block parties

11) E-Bay parties

12) Scrapbook and cardmaking parties

13) Jewelry parties

14) Jewelry-making parties

15) Natural beauty seminar, including facials

16) Soup and/or cookie recipe exchanges

17) Gourmet tea parties

18) Girls' night out

19) Sponsor individuals for brave feats, such as sky-diving

20) Volunteers do work for community members for money, such as mowing, raking, shoveling, painting, cleaning, and repairs.

21) Sell art and crafts at a craft fair or flea market; include donation box at booth.

22) Sell a food or other item outside of a grocery store.

23) Bake sale
